Ash is the main protagonist and only playable character of Concrete Genie.
He is constantly found in Denska drawing in his sketchbook, although he is bullied often by the Bullies.
Despite being quite the introvert, he is thoughtful, creative, and kindhearted in general. He is also shown to be very responsible in most matters, as he tries to set his important tasks first whilst still making time to help if needed.
He is also very brave, as shown in the game when he had to combat and convert back his Genies (now Dark Genies, corrupted by the Bullies' negativity and Ash's only feelings of helplessness & despair) to save the others' from being in a state of sadness and despair.

- Ash uses this magical paintbrush (which was given to him by Luna) to paint Genies and pictures. To combat the darkness in Denska.
